Discussions:
Discussion revolved around the future role of the DAMED working group, and its relationship to the CIM (Common Information Management) schemas working group that had a BOF at the last GGF. The general consensus was that although CIM may in theory overlap entirely with the DAMED goals, in practice there may be areas where the DAMED working group could make progress more quickly. However, even in this tentative agreement there was some doubt, so there will be a private call with a couple key members of the new CIM working group in the 1st week of September to gather information, that will in turn be reported to the working group(s) as a whole for discussion and feedback.
